This year’s discussion will explore the commercial realities shaping the immersive technology sector, examine global trends including the convergence of AI and spatial computing and the shift beyond headsets, and consider the broader ecosystem of enabling technologies—from computer vision, spatial AI and digital twins to haptics, spatial audio, WebXR and interoperability—that are powering the next generation of immersive experiences.

The XR Roundtable is an opportunity to reconnect with Queensland’s immersive technology community, hear what members are currently working on, discuss emerging priorities and opportunities, and help inform the future direction and priorities of the XR Hub.

Together, we’ll explore where Queensland should focus its efforts to continue building sustainable capability, strengthen competitive advantage, and accelerate industry growth.
