Metaverse, NFTs, and XR – How IP rights are regulating this “new” frontier

The Queensland XR Hub welcomes MK Principal, Mark Metzeling, to explain in simple terms “what are NFTs, what is the Metaverse, and what is XR?”

By looking at how these concepts have evolved since the 1950s, Mark will provide you with an understanding of the role intellectual property must play in their regulation today.

In this free online session, Mark will discuss recent cases concerning intellectual property rights in the Metaverse with reference to Australian law; and concludes with salient practical considerations you’ll want to implement in your businesses.
